The engine has its cylinders (2) arranged in a circle. The cylinder-carrying body (1) rotates. Two pistons (3) drive one crankshaft (4) and a gear wheel (5) connected to this crankshaft, running on a fixed gear crown (6), and thus putting the cylinder body into rotation. The number of teeth on the fixed gear crown is a simple multiple of the number of teeth of the gear wheel connected to the crankshaft.
