<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device with a sensor capable of preventing separation of a core metal and resin and invasion of water from a boundary between the core metal and resin, and a rolling bearing unit using the same sealing device with a sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing device 7 with a sensor comprises a fixed side sealing member 8 fixed on a vehicle body side raceway member 3, and a rotary side sealing member 9 fixed on a vehicle wheel side raceway member 4. The fixed side sealing member 8 provide the core metal 21, a resin member 22 integrated with the core metal 21 by means of an inserting mold, the sensor 11 resin-molded on the core metal 21, and an elastic seal 27 glued on the core metal 21. The elastic seal 27 has a slinger side axial lip 42 which brings with sliding contact with a flange 33 of a slinger 31, radial lips 43 and 44 which bring into sliding contact with a cylindrical section 32 of the slinger 31, and a pulser side axial lip 45 which brings into sliding contact with a connecting section 35b of a support member 35 of a pulser 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
