<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system, server device, and print method of a portable terminal document capable of transmitting a document created by a client device to a portable terminal, reading it with the portable terminal, and printing it at a print quality equivalent to that of an original document in a nearby printer if needed. <P>SOLUTION: When a document is transmitted to the server device 12, the print system acquires a document ID from the server device 12 and transmits the acquired document ID to a PDA 16 with the document on the client PC 11 side, and manages the document and document ID transmitted from the client PC 11 in association with each other on the PDA 16 side. When the document is printed, the document ID corresponding to the document is transmitted to the server device 12 from the PDA 16, and the server device 12 receives it and transmits the document corresponding to the document ID to one of printers 15-1 and 15-n.
