PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which a sufficient terminal holding force is obtained without enlarging the width of a locking lance, its strength is increased, and downsizing is achieved. SOLUTION: The connector comprises a terminal 12 and a connector housing 11 in which a terminal housing chamber 11a in which the terminal 12 is inserted and an elastic locking member 13 for locking the locked part 18 of the terminal 12 so as to regulate the pulling-out of the terminal 12 housed in the terminal housing chamber 11a are provided. The elastic locking member 13 has a pair of ribs 39 installed at a interval in the direction orthogonal the pulling-out direction of the terminal 12, and a locking part 26 which is installed between the pair of ribs 39 and contacted with the locked part 18 in the pulling-out direction.
