PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bulb replacement equipment in which a bulb can be retained easily in a prescribed direction from a separated position in the lateral direction, and a bulb replacement operation is easily carried out. SOLUTION: This bulb replacement equipment is provided with a retaining base 21 relatively rotatably coupled to a support 11, a bulb retaining part 23 which is rotatably pivoted by the retaining base 21 and in which the outer peripheral part of the bulb R is insertable from a retaining direction D1 and retainable, and a rotation transmission part 25 in which the rotation of the support 11 is transmittable to the bulb retaining part, and in which, by making the bulb retaining part 23 retain the bulb R and by rotating the support 11, the bulb R is rotated and replaced. The bulb retaining part 23 has a rotation axis core L1 in the direction crossing the direction along the support 11, and further outside the bulb retaining part 23 and at a position crossing the rotation axis core L1 of the bulb retaining part 23, a positioning recess 29 in which the outer peripheral part of the terminal side of the bulb R is enabled to be inserted and arranged along the retaining direction D1 of the bulb retaining part 23 is installed in a fixed state to the retaining base part 21.
