PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately cope with fast forwarding indication or fast running indication from a user in the reproduction of a file to be reproduced of which the reproduction cannot be started in the middle. SOLUTION: A reproducing means 11 reproduces a file to be reproduced. A fast forwarding or fast running performing means 12 performs fast forwarding or fast running for the file to be reproduced being reproduced at present. An indication detecting means 13 detects the indication of fast forwarding or fast running from a user during the reproduction of the file to be reproduced by the reproducing means 11. A midway reproduction start possibility determination means 14 performs a reproduction start in the midway possibility determination of whether the reproduction of the file to be reproduced being reproduced at present in the reproducing means 11 can be started midway or not. An invalid time control means 16 determines the indication of fast forwarding or fast running from the user to be invalid when the midway reproduction start possibility determination is negative, and continues the reproduction of the file to be reproduced by the reproducing means 11.
