PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic device, capable of coping with the long length of an insertion part without making the overall device, such as a drum heavy, thick, long and large. SOLUTION: The endoscopic device, for observing an object to be observed by inserting its long-length insertion part equipped with an observation means at an edge part in the object to be observed, is equipped with the rotating drum 10 by which the insertion part is taken up and pull out, a holding mechanism which holds the drum 10 freely rotatably, and an aligning take-up mechanism 20 for making the insertion part align with the drum 10, superposing it in a plurality of stages and taking it up.
