PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a development processor in which a development treatment liquid sticking to the surface of photographic paper can be rationally removed. SOLUTION: A development treatment unit comprises an in-liquid rack 10a and a turn rack to feed the photographic paper from the in-liquid rack 10a into the next treatment tank 6 as a treatment rack for conveying the photographic paper in the treatment liquid of the treatment tank. The development processor is equipped with a cleaning mechanism 20 for spraying a cleaning liquid to the photosensitive surface side of the photographic paper sent of the turn rack, is equipped with an existence/nonexistence sensor S for sending of the leading end of the photographic paper P to the development treatment unit and is equipped with a controller unit 50 for actuating the cleaning mechanism 20 at the timing at which the leading end of the photographic paper arrives at the cleaning mechanism 20 after the leading end of the photographic paper P is detected by the existence/nonexistence sensor S.
