PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder capable of stably supplying ink to an inkjet head, carrying out stable ejection of ink liquid droplets, and forming a high quality and stable image. SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder comprises the inkjet head for ejecting ink as liquid droplets by applying according to an image signal an electrostatic force to the ink constituted such that colorant particles including at least a colorant and a resin are dispersed in a dispersion medium, and ink tank for storing the ink, a circulation means for circulating the ink between the ink tank and the inkjet head, a detection means for detecting an amount of the ink in the ink tank, and a discharge means for discharging a predetermined amount of the ink from the ink tank.
