<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake constituted to prevent the damage of a breeder even if it is of the parking brake built-in type. <P>SOLUTION: The disk brake has a pair of pads arranged on both sides of a disk 5 rotated integrally with a wheel inside the wheel; a caliper 9 fitting a piston slidably into a bore of a cylinder of bottomed cylinder shape and bringing the pair of pads into contact with the disk 5 by the sliding motion of the piston; and a pressing mechanism 59 projected from the bottom part of the cylinder to generate pressing force in the sliding direction of the piston. The caliper 9 is provided with the breeder 31 projected to the wheel side.
