<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress upsurge of passband characteristic of an optical switch, in the vicinity of the out of band (sidelobe part). <P>SOLUTION: The optical switch 10 is provided with a spectroscopic element 1 which splits wavelength multiplexed light according to wavelength; a plurality of output ports 22; and a plurality of mirrors 4, on which the light split with the spectroscopic element 1 are respectively made incident and which guides the reflected light to one of the plurality of output ports 22 by varying the angle of the reflection face, wherein when the incident position of the reflected light which is made incident on one of the output ports 22 is varied, the angle of the reflecting face of the corresponding mirror 4, among the plurality of mirrors 4, is varied in a direction other than the arrangement direction of the mirrors 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
