PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multibeam light source apparatus in which a scanning pitch is adjustable, using a simple structure, a multibeam optical scanner furnished with the multibeam light source apparatus, and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The multibeam light source apparatus has a plurality of light source parts arranged in a predetermined directions and composed of semiconductor lasers 101-1, 102-1, 106-1 and 107-1, and coupling lenses 104, 105, 109 and 119, which focus and couple the divergent luminous fluxes emitted from the respective semiconductors; and beam-synchronizing prisms 112-1 and 112-2 which make the luminous fluxes emitted from the respective light source parts come closer and emit. The luminous fluxes, emitted from the respective light sources, are independently made incident on the same number of beam synchronizing prisms 112-1 and 112-2 as the light source parts, and the luminous fluxes via the optical elements are made closer and emitted.
