PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step for a load-carrying platform capable of being easily installed and removed when unloading and loading work are performed. SOLUTION: The step 1 for the load-carrying platform is provided with a support means 11, i.e., a scaffold of a worker; and a mounting means 12 for detachably mounting the support means to a partitioning part 2. The mounting means is directly connected to the support means or is indirectly connected to the support means through a support means placement part 12a. The mounting means has a first engagement part 13 engaged with one surface of the partitioning part; and a second engagement part 14 provided on a load support part 12b extending from the support means or the support means placement part in a direction opposite to the support means and engaged with the other surface of the partitioning part. At least either the first engagement part or the second engagement part is formed so as to be advanceable/retreatable in a space between the first engagement part and the second engagement part. The support means is directly arranged on an upper end of the partitioning part or is indirectly arranged thereon through the support means placement part and the partitioning part is clamped by the first engagement part and the second engagement part.
