PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular sun visor device capable of easily adjusting the shading quantity, i.e., the shading position. SOLUTION: The vehicular sun visor device comprises a proximity sensor which is provided on a shading plate, detects a detected part to be shaded by an instruction operator in a non-contact manner so as to move the shading plate in the direction of the shading position and the position of retraction, and outputs the signal for movement, and a drive control means to control a drive device to move the shading plate toward the shading position or toward the position of retraction by receiving the signal from the proximity sensor.
