PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a nozzle in a spray apparatus. SOLUTION: The spray apparatus is provided with a solution tank storing an aqueous solution 50 and a spray nozzle 31 communicating with the solution tank. The tip of the spray nozzle 31 is present at a position lower than the liquid level of the solution tank. The electric field is formed so that the aqueous solution 50 in the tip part of the spray nozzle 31 is located in the electric field and the aqueous solution 50 is atomized and discharged from the tip of the spray nozzle 31. While the spray of the solution is stopped, the movement of the aqueous solution in the spray nozzle is induced by forming the electric field so that the aqueous solution 50 in the tip part of the spray nozzle 31 is located in the electric field. The aqueous solution 50 in the tip of the spray nozzle 31 is moved back and forth with respect to the nozzle 31 to be thereby stirred by repeating the formation and the disappearance of the electric field during the spray of the solution is stopped.
