PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust preventing tool and a rust preventing method, capable of easily performing rust preventing, capable of uniformly sticking the film thickness of rust preventives even to a reinforcement being a projection, capable of preventing separation and falling-off of peripheral concrete caused by corrosion of the reinforcement, capable of preventing rust of both reinforcements in an exposure part and the concrete, capable of permeating the rust preventives up to the inside of rust of the reinforcement, capable of permeating up to the whole peripheral sound part, and capable of completing rust preventiveness of the exposure part of a plurality of reinforcements at once. SOLUTION: This rust preventing tool has the rust preventives for preventing the rust of the reinforcement, a vessel for storing the rust preventives, and an opening part opening in an end part of the vessel and inserting the reinforcement.
