PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing member which is available in common for cladding materials of different heights by virtue of its elastic deformation, to thereby exert convenience as a generally applicable item, and to provide a finishing structure. SOLUTION: The finishing member is formed of a lower finishing member 2 having fixing portions 2a and fitting-accommodating engaging portions 2b, and an upper finishing member 3 having vertically elastically deformable upper surfaces 4a, and fitting engaging portions 4b fitted to and engaged with the fitting-accommodating engaging portions 2b to be coupled together in one body. According to the structure of the finishing member, when the fitting engaging portion 4b is fitted to and engaged with the fitting-accommodating engaging portion 2b to be coupled together in one body, the upper surfaces 4a are elastically deformed according to the height of the cladding material 9, and therefore the upper surfaces can elastically abut on the surface of the cladding material 9. To form the finishing structure using the finishing member, the lower finishing member 2 is fixed to a substrate 7, and the fitting engaging portion 4b of the upper finishing member 3 is fitted to and engaged with the fitting-accommodating engaging portion 2b of the lower finishing member 2, followed by elastically pressing each end of the cladding material 9 from above via the upper surface 4a elastically deformable according to the height of the cladding material 9, at a location above the fixing portion 2a.
