PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder for a loft not only changing the posture of a ladder body without labors by the light lifting of the ladder body by a spring but also being capable of safely using the ladder made of aluminum and wood without deteriorating a strength in a ladder girder even in the ladder made of aluminum and wood by installing the spring to the side lower section of the ladder girder for the ladder body. SOLUTION: In the ladder for the loft, a supporting section 4 installed to the upper section of a wall surface 3 or a floor face in an upper floor between the floor face 1 in a lower floor and the floor face 2 in the upper floor is disposed to the side lower section of the ladder girder for the ladder body. In the ladder for the loft, the spring rotatably connecting the ladder body at an arbitrary angle between a using posture, in which a lower end section is mounted on the floor face in the lower floor under the state in which the lower end section is leaned against the wall surface, and a storage posture made approximately perpendicular while being adjoined to the wall surface and urging the ladder body so as to be upwards pulled up to the supporting section is disposed to the side lower section of the ladder girder for the ladder body.
