An information processing device (200) acquires user unique information in response to user operation, performs user authentication according to the unique information, and transmits the authentication information to an information processing terminal after a first radio communication mode is established. The information processing terminal (100) receives authentication information from a mobile information processing device in the first radio communication mode (A), verifies the received authentication information, generates an identifier according to the verification result, transmits the identifier to the mobile information processing device in the first radio communication mode, switches the mode from the first radio communication mode to a second radio communication mode (B), and repeatedly poles the mobile information processing device. The mobile information processing device receives the identifier from the information processing terminal in the first radio communication mode, switches the mode from the first radio communication mode to the second radio communication mode, operates in the second radio communication mode so as to return a response containing the identifier to the information processing terminal in response to the poling from the information processing terminal. Thus, it is possible to manage presence of the mobile information processing device.
