<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inclusion compounds of hesperetin and naringenin having improved absorbability in vivo as a method for improving the absorbability in vivo of hesperidin and naringin which are flavanone present in the nature; and to provide a method for synthesizing them. <P>SOLUTION: The method for synthesizing the inclusion compound of the flavanone which is the inclusion compound of the hesperetin or the naringenin is provided. In one example of the method, the method comprises a step for obtaining the inclusion compound of the hesperidin or the naringin by including the hesperidin or the naringin with a β-cyclodextrin, a branched β-cyclodextrin or a modified product thereof, and a step for obtaining the inclusion compound of the hesperetin or the naringenin by hydrolyzing the inclusion compound of the hesperidin or the naringin.
