<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emitting source composition in which reduction of electron emitting characteristics of electron emitting elements is suppressed, and pixel defects are hard to occur, and provide the electron emitting element manufactured by using it. <P>SOLUTION: The electron emitting source composition 5a contains CNT, glass frit, and a polyglycidyl ether compound.
