<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by structuring an elongate pasta container to be placed laterally and vertically without increasing the cost, to enable a constant amount of pasta to be taken out from an upper part when placed vertically, and to put the container with a largely different shape from other common food containers in a place of such a shape. <P>SOLUTION: The pasta container is structured such that a lid 2 is put over the elongate container 1 for storing the pasta. A rib 4 or a protrusion is provided on a shorter sidewall 3 of the container 1 to align with an edge 5 of the lid 2 in height.
