<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device devised capable of making the side on which a power converter of a rotating cylinder larger in diameter without being influenced upon by a large gear and the side on which the large gear is provided smaller in diameter without being influenced upon by the power converter. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter A to transmit torque of the rotating cylinder 9 to a steering shaft 4 by converting it to moving force in the axial longitudinal direction of the steering shaft 4 is provided on one side in the axial longitudinal direction of the rotating cylinder 9 arranged free to rotate through a rolling bearing 11 around outside of a spiral groove 4b of the steering shaft 4 moving in the axial longitudinal direction in accordance with steering operation, the large gear 8 and the rolling bearing 11 are externally fit from an edge of the outside on the outside in the axial longitudinal direction of the rolling cylinder 9, a nut 18 to fix the large gear 8 on an engaging part 9e through the rolling bearing 11 is screwed and fitted on the outside in the axial longitudinal direction and the engaging part 9e is made smaller in diameter without being influenced upon by the power converter A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
