摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy of boron measurement by ICP-MS method in a material deterioration diagnosis method of a reactor structure. SOLUTION: This material deterioration diagnosis method of the reactor structure has a process for collecting a sample from the reactor structure subjected to neutron irradiation; a process for analyzing the amount of boron-11 from the collected sample; a process for estimating an initial boron amount included in a component of the reactor structure before being subjected to the neutron irradiation from the amount of boron-11 analyzed in the preceding process; and a process for predicting a distribution of nuclear transformation helium included in the reactor structure by using the estimated initial boron amount, other chemical components included in the component of the reactor structure and a neutron irradiation quantity distribution. In the method, the measurement accuracy of the boron measurement can be heightened by homogenizing a measuring matrix before measurement of boron-11.
