PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting edge heat insulating structure of a sheet cutting device suppressing transmission of heat from a cutting edge heated by a heater to an other part such as a cutting edge elevating body. SOLUTION: An air passing groove 18 is provided on a heat insulating material mounting surface 17 of the cutting edge elevating body 8 for holding the cutting edge 1. The air passing groove 18 is closed by mounting the heat insulating material 16 on the heat insulating material mounting surface 17, and a space between the heat insulating material 16 and the air passing groove 18 is made as a cooling air passage 19. Air is supplied to the cooling air passage 19, and heat transmitted from the cutting edge 1 heated by the heater 15 to the other part is heat-insulated by the heat insulating part 16 and air-cooling.
