PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separating body in which defect such as separation/crack are hardly generated even if heat cycle is added thereto and which can be preferably used even at a high temperature for a long time. SOLUTION: The hydrogen separating body 1 provided with a porus base 2 mainly including ceramics having a number of micro pores connecting from one surface 5 to the other surface of the base and a hydrogen separating layer 3 including a hydrogen perselective metal provided in the base 2.
