PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick hardening admixture capable of keeping high flowability for a long period of time even when using the admixture by being mixed into cement paste, mortar or concrete, which has high flowability, sufficiently suppressing the occurrence of segregation due to quick progress of setting after the start of the setting, and stably obtaining high strength development after being hardened, and to provide a hydraulic composition using the admixture. SOLUTION: The quick hardening admixture contains the nitrite or nitrate of an alkaline earth metal, a water reducing agent, a thickener and graphite.
