The invention relates to a temperable lens, particularly for microscopes and other optical devices, comprising a main mounting (1) as a lens component in which at least one correction mounting, cylindrical sleeves, mounting rings (2), catching and/or adjusting rings (3), and imaging optical members are disposed. At least one lens component or an element that is placed between lens components is embodied as a temperable component (6) or a temperable film (14) which is connected to a temperature monitoring apparatus via wires (8; 9 or 15; 16). A temperature sensor (17) that is also connected to the temperature monitoring apparatus is additionally arranged in the lens.
