<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM diversity receiver capable of enhancing the reception quality with a minimum computing complexity by using an optimum adaptive algorithm depending on the presence/absence of an interference wave. <P>SOLUTION: An interference wave detection section 113 discriminates the presence/absence of the interference wave in each subcarrier from received signals outputted from a plurality of reception branches (101, 103, 105, 107 and 102, 104, 106, 108) for receiving an OFDM signal including a plurality of subcarriers orthogonal to each other and outputting the received signals and estimates a first subcarrier group wherein the interference wave exists and a second subcarrier group wherein no interference wave exists, multiplier sections 109, 110 multiply a first weight for eliminating the interference wave with the first subcarrier, multiply a second weight for maximizing the S/N with the second subcarrier group, and thereafter a composite section 111 composes output signals from the multiplier sections 109, 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
