<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite solid polymer electrolyte membrane excellent in mechanical strength and heat resistance, capable of maintaining stable ion conductivity, excellent in dimension stability and chemical stability and having high durability, and to provide a membrane-electrode assembly and a fuel cell that comprise the composite solid polymer electrolyte membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The composite solid polymer electrolyte membrane has a cluster anisotropy index of 0.03 to 0.30. According to the composite solid polymer electrolyte membrane of this invention, improved mechanical strength and heat resistance and excellent dimensional stability are achieved by making the cluster anisotropy index range from 0.03 to 0.30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
