<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam material in a hollow portion without forming an injection opening in a golf club head. <P>SOLUTION: A recess portion 15 is formed in the front of a head body 12 oppositely to a face 3 and an unfoamed heat foamable material 13 is provided in the recess portion 15. After a head 1 is formed by fastening a face member 11 to the head body 12 as if to cover the recess portion 15, the foamable material 13 is foamed in the hollow portion 14 by heating the head 1 in a heating furnace. Consequently, the foamable material 13 can be closely provided in the hollow portion 14 closely surrounded by the face member 11 and the recess portion 15 closely to the face member 11 and the recess portion 15 without forming an opening extending from the outside to the hollow portion 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
