PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an oblique line with an angle of about 45°always with a constant width, and to provide a print image of high quality. SOLUTION: Path information of line drawing where the position of the coordinate is specified by a path processing section 3 is delivered to a path managing section 4, and is stored and managed by the path managing section 4. When there is an oblique line in the path information to be printed, a 45°line determining section 5 determines whether the oblique line has an angle within a certain range around the 45°from the horizontal axis or vertical axis. When it is an oblique line with an angle within the certain range, the path information is delivered to a 45°line approximation section 6. The 45°line approximation section 6 fixes all of the path information of the received oblique line to the oblique line of 45°, and delivers it to a line drawing processing section 7.
