PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a biochip substrate, capable of uniformly forming a material having affinity with a bioactive material on a substrate surface to reduce the dispersion of immobilization quantity. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a biochip substrate which is used to immobilize a material having affinity with a bioactive material to detect the bioactive material, comprises steps of applying a polymer material onto the substrate surface; and dipping the resulting substrate in a good solvent for the polymer material.
