PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting a hot-blast circular tube by which this setting work can be performed in a short term because the workability, such as carrying and arrangement of a segment is good, and the shock at the working time can be reduced. SOLUTION: This method is the one, by which the segments a-g, divided into the plurality in the peripheral direction in the circularity of the furnace body in a blast furnace is carried and set, and the centering and the joining of the segments are performed to set the hot-blast circular tube. The segments divided into the plurality, are provided with a plurality of supporting legs 24 and loaded on receiving tables 25 having the same height, respectively. The carrying of the segment is performed with two sets of small type carrying trucks 26 so as to be ascendable/descendable with an ascending/descending means to the receiving table and be travelable and swingable to the whole directions.
