PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fraudulence in which the game of a slot machine is performed by a fraudulent utensil without using tokens from occurring. SOLUTION: This cast token detecting device for a slot machine is properly used by following five ways and so forth. An upstream token detector 74 and a downstream token detector 76 are operated in a manner to be token-detectable, and at the same time, an intermediate token detector 75 is made unable to detect tokens. The upstream token detector 74 and the intermediate token detector 75 are operated in a manner to be token-detectable, and at the same time, the downstream token detector 76 is made unable to detect tokens. The intermediate token detector 75 and the downstream token detector 76 are operated in a manner to be token-detectable, and at the same time, the upstream token detector 74 is made unable to detect tokens. Only the upstream token detector 74 is being operated in a manner to be token-detectable, and at the same time, the intermediate token detector 75 and the downstream token detector 76 are made unable to detect tokens.
