<p>The sofa (1) is of any suitable design with a seat area (4), a backrest (2) and two armrests (3). The seat area (4) has two lateral recesses for the accommodation of the lower ends of the armrests (3), each of them joined the lower frame of the sofa (1) with a chain (9) guided around two shafts (5,7). One of the shafts (7) is joined to the frame. The second shaft (5) is attached to the armrest (3), facilitating a position with no gap left between seat area (4) and armrests (3) after conversion.</p> |
