<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medal for a game machine in which a non-contact recognition element is sealed without using a heated liquid resin and is easily recycled, and which smoothly flows through a medal flow passage and hardly causes reading errors. <P>SOLUTION: The medal is provided with: a resin part where an IC chip 100 with unique self identification information previously recorded therein is sealed in first and second cases by mounting the IC chip 100 on the first case 210 and fitting the first case with the IC chip 100 mounted thereon to the second case; and a metallic part 230 where at least the outer shape is formed to be a ring shape, including an opening part to be fitted to the resin part.
