INSERT MOLDING COMPONENT FOR SWITCH, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND PRESSURE SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert molding component for a switch, its manufacturing method, and a pressure switch for securing waterproofness and airtightness sufficiently and preventing defective conduction due to invasion of water to a switch contact or seizure of a foreign matter. SOLUTION: Using a terminal 3 in which a long standing part 4 forming a connection terminal from both sides of a metal plate to the upper side and a short standing part 5 are stood face to face, die clamping between a lower die 13 and an upper die 12 is carried out while the terminal 3 is mounted to the lower die 13 and the long standing part 4 is inserted into an insertion hole 15 opened upward from a wall face 12a corresponding to a cavity shape upper face in the upper die 12. In this way, the terminal 3 is fixed to the metal die while pressing the bottom face of the terminal 3 from the lower side by means of the lower die 13 and pressing upper end parts of a pair of standing parts 4 and 5 in the terminal 3 from the upper side by means of the upper die 12.
