PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to shave by surely sucking and smoothly move laterally even if the degree of stretching by sucking differs at different sections of the face when a razor is used while sucking the face. SOLUTION: The vacuum razor is equipped with a suction chamber 13 to be pressed on the skin surface, a razor blade 11 born on the part facing the skin surface on the inner side of the suction chamber 13, a razor blade driving means which is connected to the razor blade 11 and drives the razor blade 11, and a suction port 15 formed on the side face part or the rear face part of the suction chamber 13 and connected to a vacuum generating source. The razor blade driving means comprises a motor 1 and a crank mechanism for converting the rotation of the motor 1 to reciprocative movement and drives the razor blade 11 in the forward and backward direction. Also, another razor blade driving means comprises an eccentric motor 21 mounted on a member supporting the razor blade and vibrates the razor blade. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
