The invention relates to a device for stacking individually successively supplied products, said device containing a plurality of compartments (3) that can be moved along a closed path and respectively contain an individual product. A stack of products is ejected from a plurality of adjacent compartments. The compartment that has just been filled is opened in such a way that the two walls (4) forming the compartment are moved away from each other, especially pivoted away from each other. In this way, the compartment that has just been filled is changed such that the product contained therein is aligned and compressed.
