<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an account management system and an account management program in an image formation system for automating initial setting or user side operations at the time of printing, and for making it unnecessary to provide any authentication/accounting server. <P>SOLUTION: In this image formation system in which a host PC outputs print data through a network to a print server by a printer driver, and the print server transmits the print data through the network to an image formation means to print it out, the printer driver of the host PC acquires user information using an API, and transmits the user information and the print data to the print server, and the print server reads a department code corresponding to the user information, and transmits the corresponding department designation command and the print data to the image formation means, and the image formation means counts up the account information of the department based on the department designation command, and generates and stores accounting information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
