摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft connecting mechanism for an electric power steering device capable of reducing play around the axis, for example, between one rotating shaft connected with an output rotating shaft of an electric motor and a steering shaft being the other rotating shaft connected with a steering wheel even in use for a long time, reducing transmission of impact shock in reversing the electric motor and brush vibration to the steering wheel, and having high durability so that steering feeling is not impaired. SOLUTION: This shaft connecting mechanism 1 comprises a connection base 3 connected with a rotating shaft 2, a connection base 5 connected with the steering shaft 4, rotation transmitting members 6, 7 mounted between the rotating shaft 2 and the steering shaft 4 through both connection bases 3, 5 and transmitting the rotation in the R direction of the rotating shaft 2 to the steering shaft 4, an intermediate member 8 mounted between the rotation transmitting members 6, 7, and a connecting means 9 for connecting the rotation transmitting members 6, 7 with each other.
