PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging element with filter, and a manufacturing method of the imaging device with filter, which solve a problem wherein dust adheres to the filter during or after a manufacturing process, whereby the filter is defective, and which improve quality as well as allow efficient production of an imaging module. SOLUTION: The imaging element 60 with the filter for cutting infrared rays is constituted of the imaging element 51 and the filter 40 for cutting infrared rays. In this case, the filter 40 for cutting infrared rays is sealingly mounted on the surface whereon the sensor unit 50a of the imaging element 51 is formed in an arrangement at least covering the sensor unit 50a without generating interference with the sensor unit, and a protective sheet 42 is attached separably to the outer surface of the filter 40.
