PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat back supporting device which secures comfortable sitting feeling by firmly supporting the pelvic bone part and the lower back of a seated person when a seat is used. SOLUTION: The seat back supporting device which is provided in the seat back and supported to a seat frame through springs and supporting the back of an occupant when he/she is seated consists of: a plate member 1 deformable following the shape of the back; and a regulation part 4 regulating backward movement of a lower back support part at the plate member 1 when the occupant is seated. The regulation part 4 consists of: an engaging part 5 provided on the side of the plate member; and an engaged part 6 which is set to the seat frame 2 and extended in a horizontal direction.
