PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shank of a squid-fishing hook capable of effectively preventing the rotation of an umbrella hook bundle around the shank. SOLUTION: The squid-fishing hook is formed by inserting and fixing a shank 1 of a squid-fishing hook in a hollow part of an umbrella hook bundle 5 having a hollow part and produced by using a plurality of umbrella hooks 8A each composed of a biforked hook having bent needle tips. The shank 1 is composed of a wire usually having a circular cross-section and has a polygonal cross-section part 3 at a part of the shank.
