The painting plant has a painting cabin (201), a wet separation system (202) through which process air is sucked from the cabin along with the rinsing water, so that the paint residue in the process air passes into the water. An air preparation unit (210) conditions the recirculated process air. A cooling device (230) cools the rinsing water.
