The controller has a housing (10) and a piston (26) that is movably supported in the housing. A seat (42) is provided in the housing and is attached to the piston using an elastic unit (29) in a sealing contact for separating a fluid that is found behind the seat in mainstream direction from a fluid that is found before the seat. A sealant (31) is connected to the piston and the seat.
