An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed. The charge transport material comprising a mixture of stereoisomers as a charge transport material and glass transition point Tgb of the binder resin of the charge transport layer and glass transition point Tgl of the charge transport layer satisfy <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?>100° C.<Tgl1<Tgb(both Tgb and Tgl in ° C.).<?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?> An image forming method employing the photoreceptor is also disclosed.
