A fastening arrangement for fastening a blade to a rotor of a straw chopper. The fastening arrangement comprising a bolt that is inserted into a blade hole i n the blade and into a plate hole in a mounting plate extending from the rotor and into a retaining element that retains the bolt in the holes. The retaining element can be separated from the bolt. The bolt and the retaining element are fixed against rotation by the mounting plate.
