<p>The invention comprises compounds of formula RR1N-X-Y, where X is (C3H6O)x(C2H4O)y, Y is CnH2nSO3M, R is a C1- 24 aliphatic radical, or an aryl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylaryl, hydronaphthyl or heterocyclic radical, R1 is as R is defined or is -XH or -XY, M is an alkali or alkaline earth metal, ammonium or an organic base, n is 2 or 3, and x + y is 2-40 wherein x is 0-39 and y is 1-40.
